Nocturne Live At Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock OX20 1PP

Nocturne Live is returning to the Great Court at Blenheim Palace for another series of once-in-a-lifetime concerts from Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd June 2019. Since 2015, Nocturne Live has brought the best artists in the world to the most beautiful venue in the country for a most unique concert experience.

The legendary Gladys Knight, ‘90s star Gabrielle and the brand-new Disco Classical, featuring Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge performing with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra, will open this year’s Nocturne Live series of summer concerts on 20th June.

Having recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the game-changing Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album with a world tour, Ms. Lauryn Hill is returning to the UK for a handful of summer festivals, plus this incredible one-off concert at Blenheim Palace as part of Nocturne Live on 21 June.

Joining the sublime Ms. Hill are two women who grew up with her music: the pioneering Laura Mvula and the hotly-tipped Mahalia.

Performing a career-spanning set that will include music from her iconic solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, plus hits from The Fugees’ masterpiece The Score, her highly anticipated set at Nocturne will also include brand new music.

A game-changer in the truest sense, Ms. Lauryn Hill has sold over 50 million records, holds the record for the most Grammy’s won in one night by a solo female, whilst both The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and The Score appear on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Tears For Fears, whose huge catalogue of hit songs includes ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’, ‘Shout’, ‘Head Over Heels’ and ‘Mad World’, will headline on Saturday 22nd June. Joining them will be synth-rockers White Lies and chart topping synth-pop outfit Scritti Politti.

Taking to the Great Court’s stage on Sunday 23rd June, Kylie Minogue will be joined by special guest Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Hackney Colliery Band will open the show.

Bringing her globally celebrated talent as a live performer to one of the most unique venues in the country, the show will see Kylie performing a series of career-spanning hits from her unparalleled back catalogue including her most recent album ‘Golden’.

This promises to be a spectacular show and the perfect way to bring the Nocturne Live 2019 series of summer concerts to a close.
